We can supply and install premises cabling for both telephone and networks (ethernet). We can supply cable, wallplates and patch cable for Cat 3, Cat 5, and Cat 5e. Patch cables can be custom made to any reasonable length.

Cat3 specification is for voice or data to 16 mbps. This is usually used for telephone and slow ethernet up to 10 mbps (10BASE-T).
Cat5 and Cat5e specifications are for data to 100 mbps. These are used for fast ethernet networks (10/100BASE-T)
